The Manchester Grand Hyatt is renowned as the tallest waterfront building on the West Coast. The original 40-story tower was constructed in 1992 and expanded in 2003 with a second, 33-story tower. The two towers now make up the third and seventh tallest buildings in San Diego. Featuring 1,628 guestrooms, the Manchester Grand Hyatt is Southern California’s largest hotel.
Just steps away from the Gaslamp Quarter and within easy reach of the world-famous San Diego Zoo, our upscale hotel has been distinctly heralded among the best in San Diego.
Our new guestrooms and suites incorporate classic lines with a modern interpretation, inspired by local settings. The lines of the Coronado Bridge are infused in the carpet design, while abstract images of local beaches have inspired the custom artwork that seems to change with the movement of the sun across the room. Enjoy the combined convenience of Hyatt’s uncommonly attentive service with the comfort of our new inviting guestrooms, all in the heart of America’s Finest city.
